For a bath, add two handfuls of salt to a warm bath. For concentrated use (for severe aching muscles) add half the contents of this pack. Soak for 20 minutes before rinsing. For soothing areas of muscle pain, add one handful of salt into a cup of hot water and cool the solution in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Apply to the affected area and leave to soak in.

Magnesium Sulfate

What is Epsom Salt?

Epsom Salts are named after the saline spring in Epsom, Surrey where they come from but they aren’t actually ‘salt’ as we know it. Epsom salt is a pure mineral compound of magnesium sulphate in crystal form, so it looks a lot like salt but it actually has no sodium chloride.

What is Epsom Salt used for?

Epsom salts have a very high concentration of magnesium, which is an essential mineral for the body. A high concentration of this mineral means that Epsom Salts are particularly good at flushing out toxins, relieving muscles after exercise, easing fluid retention & aiding general well-being.

How to use Epsom Salt...

Epsom Salt is a therapeutic salt that when combined with water, allows for the absorption of minerals. We recommend using it in a bath for maximum effect but you can use it to soak feet. Epsom Salts are NOT suitable for eating.

How long should I soak in Epsom Salt?

We recommend soaking in Epsom Salts for at least half an hour, twice a week.
